A long time contributor to Yankee Magazine, Vermont based photographer Corey Hendrickson is happy to call Montpelier, Vermont, one of his favorite places. A huge fan of the Savoy Theater, Corey says without hesitation that the theater is where “there is always something engaging and worthwhile on screen.” Not to mention a plethora of great dining options thanks to NECI’s restaurant roots in town and other local favorites like Kismet. Corey was lucky to catch a first year NECI student brigade review on Main Street and used it as a great opportunity to capture the various levels of anxiety and confidence he saw. This unique community is Vermont’s state capital but home to so much more.
