Wonderful to see all this and experience the memories from way out here in the midwest. The tiny town of Mason (just over the Massachusetts border) was my go-to place while growing up. My grandmother was born in the house next to the Uncle Sam house in Mason. Sam Wilson’s brother built that house for his son in the mid 1800s. My great-grandfather bought it from him. Would love to see an article on the Uncle Sam house which still stands (since the Revolutionary War days) in the pretty little town of Mason.
