Photographer Julie Bidwell captured four of our favorite New England historic inns during the holidays for the 2012 Yankee feature, Best New England Historic Inns. The preserved character of these establishments can be seen inside and out. Each location offers a different experience beyond the inn, whether exploring the quiet beaches on Cape Cod or a classic New England town.
