  1. One of the best emails one may receive. Informative and entertaining. Looking forward to the next. Thanks!

  2. I don’t know if you have ever done any shows celibrating Thanksgiving or Christmas in New England but I think these could be amazing times to visit the area. All the shows I have seen were in the summer and fall.

  3. I think that Naturism (nudism) in New England is an appropriate topic to cover (no pun intended) in an upcoming travel or tourism issue that would be well received by your readers.

  4. Having been born in Little Rhody (1958), Now in Louisville, KY, I miss the traditional Thanksgiving dinners, and smells my Grandparents had in the kitchen then. 🙁 Christmas was another great time then for the sights, and smells. Can’t take the New England out of me. 🙂

  5. ?–what is the name of the oyster farm at South Kingstown, R.I. that was so beautifully shown today on my PBS Station, I think Perry Paso is the owner’s name. Thank you in advance !

  6. My visit to New England states in June is my first. I’m a retired South Carolina “History” teacher & taught about 13 colonies in depth! Have 7 days to travel & visit only 5 or 6 states. Please advise the most significant & outstanding criteria of states to see & enjoy on such a short stay in the area!! I’m driving from Boston along A1A but what mode of transportation is a available to see & visit Nova Scotia???

    1. I lived in CT for over 30 years(now in Miami), if you are thinking of going to Nova Scotia, then make that your trip. Its a lot of travel. If you only have a week, stay in Boston a couple days, head out to the cape, visit Newport in RI, you can head to the White Mountains in NH. That’s not including anything in VT, ME, or CT. but its enough to fill a week. Possibly too much…

  7. Referring to the Ale & Chedar Dip” my RI grandfather used to make “Welsh Rabbit” (Rarebit) to serve on toast after a game of cards with friends. I believe it was made with beer and highly praised. I, as a child, only tasted it once and knew it was “grown-up” stuff – not to my taste then.
