Chatham Bars Inn
After the tykes have had their fill of the tennis courts, the private quarter-mile beach, biking, and multitude of water sports, they can jump into hands-on and educational activities galore. All summer long, the Chatham resort offers a full slate of programs that run from seal-watching to clam digging to scavenger hunts, all led by CPR-and-first-aid-certified instructors who seem to be having nearly as much fun as the kids. Named a 2017 Yankee Editors’ Pick for “Best Family Lodging.”
Harbor Hotel
Simple decor with retro touches is a reminder that this Provincetown beachfront motel was originally built as a Holiday Inn. Rooms are set aside for pet owners, and various configurations, including connecting rooms, ease family sleeping arrangements. Bring sticks and marshmallows to toast at the fire pit. Named a 2015 Yankee Editors’ Pick for “Best Child- and Pet-Friendly Lodging.”

Sea Crest Beach Hotel

Red Jacket Beach Resort & Spa

Lighthouse Inn on the water in West Dennis!
Favorite Cape Cod Motel (many years ago): High Head Cottages, North Truro.
Small 2-bedroom cottages along the highway with a boardwalk and sand pit in front of each cottage. There were steps (maybe 5 or 6) to get down to the main beach & the water (the bay). Loved every minute I spent there!!
Our family has owned the Orleans Waterfront Inn for 26 years. It was built in 1875 by a sea captain who needed ocean access for his schooner ships. We are now a seasonal resort in the only French named town on Cape Cod. We love Yankee!

“OceanEdge” in Brewster is Not on the beach. Very nice place but it’s a good 1/2 mile to get to the beach.
