    1. Hi Jacqueline. If you click on the link to the Crispy Homemade Clam Cakes Recipe (it’s linked at both the top and bottom of the post) you’ll be taken to the complete instructions, including ingredient amounts and cook time. You’ll see it says: “Fry until clam cakes are nicely browned and cooked through, 4 to 6 minutes total.” Hope that helps. Thanks!

  1. These are not clam CAKES they are fritters! Cakes are flat! I am sure they are tasty but not what I am looking for .

  2. Finely copied my favorite Clam Cakes, thank you so much, I grew up with them from Oakland Beach Iggies, again thank you so much, love my Yankee food.

  3. I can’t wait to try this recipe I love clams, oysters, crab, and salmon all of these can be made into cakes, patties, and fritters etc. and let’s not leave out octopus which I also love.

  4. We’re from Rhode Island now and living in Nevada. (Health Reasons) There’s no where out here that makes clamcakes, but we try and make our own. They come out pretty good but this new recipe should be the one we’ve been craving.
Miss all our seafood delicacies. Now on to fried clams.
