1 pound ground chuck
2 packages brown gravy mix
6 tablespoons flour
1 quart water
1 can (14.5-ounce diced tomatoes with basil, garlic and oregano
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 cup frozen mixed vegetables or peas
2 cups chopped celery
1/2 cup sliced carrots
1 can green beans
salt and pepper to taste
Brown the ground chuck in skillet, add the two packages of brown gravy mix, stir in flour. Add 1 quart water, diced tomatoes, chopped onion, frozen mixed vegetables, celery, green beans, and salt and pepper.
Simmer for 1 hour, stir often.
