Pie Crust
2 1/2 cup sifted flour
3/4 tsp. Salt
3/4 cup Crisco
6 Tbs. Milk
Mix flour salt & Crisco, add milk and form in a ball. Makes 2 pie crust.
Divide dough in 1/2 and press dough into flat circles; on plastic wrap.
Chill for at least one hours.
Or leave in refrigerator until you need it in a couple or days or freeze and
defrost and roll.
* To make in a food processor: Place flour and salt in processor, add
Crisco and process for
Approximately 10 seconds or just until mixture resembles a course meal.
With machine running,
Add the milk drop by drop through the food processor feed tube. When dough
holds together but
Is not wet or sticky, stop adding milk; do not process more than 30 seconds.
Test dough at this
Point by squeezing a small amount together. If it is still crumbly, add a
bit more water.
