3 large onion sliced (Vadalia is good)
3-4 Tbls butter
3 cans of beef broth
1/2 tsp white pepper
1 cup apple cider (unfiltered if available)
1/3 cup apple jack brandy(I used regular)
french bread
Provolone cheese
Mozzarella cheese
Sautee onions in butter till soft.
Add
3 cans beef broth
1/2 t white pepper
heat slightly
Add
1 cup apple cider
Bring to boil
Remove from heat.
Add
1/3 cup apple jack brandy (or regular brandy
Ladle into crocks
Top with french bread
Jody chunks and toast the bread
Also top with the cheeses
Brown under broiler and enjoy.
