  1. Hobbs Popcorn makes a great gift for a birthday or any day!!!
We have been grateful recipients of the most outstanding popcorn in the world sent by our
dear friends local to Salem. We love it!!!

  2. Charlie sent us a large bag to Dallas Texas for the Super Bowl 51 Party we had and it was awesome. I thing that is why the Patriots had the greatest comeback ever! 🙂

  3. I remember Buddy and his dad making popcorn back in the late ’40’s. The popcorn that Priscilla and Charlie is as wonderful today as it was all those years ago. Thanks for keeping this wonderful institution going!

  4. Growing up in Salem Willows, Hobbs is a neighborhood treasure and has the most incredible popcorn products, unlike anything I have ever tasted. My personal favorite I call “The Mix”. Ask for a large buttered and two bags of molasses corn. Ask the cashier for a large brown bag, and dump all the corn into the bag, and shake well. Trust me, this is an amazing thing, sweet, salty, buttery with a superb crunch. Addictive for sure. Also you have to try their taffy, peanut butter is my fav, but all the flavors are good. Hobbs is the flavor of summer to me…unchanged for my 60+ years.

  5. This is a moot point when you are eating the BEST popcorn in the world! My daughter and I are arguing that you put butter on the corn. I say that it is a mix in withe rhe corn. We are trying to find out, so that my granddaughter can become a follower! She has an allergy to dairy. Can ,you help??!

  6. Have so wanted to try your popcorn bars and do hope you will ship me some. Darling’s Popcorn Stand in Oak Bluffs always had them when I was a little girl. Have never found anyone other than you that make them.

  7. I’m a New Hampshire girl and back in the mid 60’s my mother made( or bought) sweetened popcorn bars colored pale pink, blue, and yellow. They didn’t have a hard crunchy coating or anything in them besides popcorn, just lightly sweet and so good. Does your store offer anything like this? Thank you so much.

    1. Yes, they have popcorn bars! 6 different flavors (vanilla, orange, wintergreen, chocolate, molasses, and coconut, I think). So yummy!

  8. My great grandparents were there when Hobbs first opened. Every generation, although no longer living in Old Lynn, makes annual trips to get our “bars”. Best in the country. Try it, in you’ll love it.
