Photographer Kate Kelley captured the following images from a favorite Rhode Island foliage drive, from Tiverton Four Corners to Little Compton (with a little dip into Massachusetts). We stopped for historic cemeteries, farm stands, and ocean vistas — just a few of the attractions that pull visitors to the area each year.

I have so much ancestor history in this area……I wish I were close by. Thank you for wonderful articles that leave me longing and happy.
As a child, I remember visiting relatives in R.I. who had a large farm there. It would be a family reunion on that side of the family.
The family name was Hjerpe. (Swedes.)
