Historic Sudbury Town Pound & Cemetery

Sudbury was founded in 1638 and the town fathers built a pound adjascent to Sudbury’s oldest cemetery in the Town Center for holding escaped farm animals. A recent ground penetrating radar project in the cemetery behind the pound located 967 hidden gravesites in addition to those marked. The main town center intersection in the background includes the First Parish with the town clock.
