Winter Scene on Blue Hill Peninsula

This is a brackish inlet. I am able to get away from work too late to take the pictures I want while the sun is high. The slight skim of ice forming at the water’s edge intrigued me as the sky turned shades of pink and purple. It was really cold. I popped my camera back into my coat after this shot…and a few more attempts.

A serene winter landscape featuring a snow-covered lake and surrounding trees, with partially cloudy skies lit by the setting sun.
