Casey’s Diner

Best Franks
One of the earliest Worcester Lunch Car diners still in service, this narrow little 10-stool eatery was built in 1922 and acquired by the Casey family in 1925. They’ve been serving their famous steamed hot dogs ever since. If no stools are available, there’s always the take-out window.

Among historic diners, few have the pedigree of this 10-stool 1922 Worcester model, with its stained glass, oak interior, and original hot-dog steamer. That copper vat never rests: Order a couple of dogs “all around” (mustard, onions, relish), and you, too, will appreciate why there’s rarely an empty seat. From $2.25.
