Foliage Season in the Berkshires | Slide Show

4.25 avg. rating (86% score) - 4 votes

Photographer Erik Rank spent last autumn chasing color for two stories in our current issue.   He spent time wandering both the Litchfield Hills in Connecticut and the Berkshires in Massachusetts searching for peak color.  Foliage always offers a unique challenge in New England. Peak goes as quickly as it comes, but Erik managed to capture some compelling images of our elusive season.  Please enjoy this slideshow of some of our favorite photographs from his time shooting foliage season in the Berkshires that didn’t make it to print.
