Heidi's Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 c frozen fruit (such as blackberries, blueberries, cherries or plums)
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c yogurt
  • 1/2 small apple
  • 1 carrot
  • flax seed
  • Sigrun's idea:
  • nuts
  • malt

Instructions

I do it in the blender in this order; it mixes better that way.
Add cranberry juice until fruit is covered, then blend. I then put about 2 T of ground flax seed in each cup and stir in the smoothie.
