Ingredients 4 cups chicken broth 1 tablespoon minced garlic ground pepper, to taste 1 bay leaf juice of 1 lemon Instructions Combine all ingredients except the lemon juice in a saucepan and simmer briefly. Remove from heat and add the lemon juice. Remove the bay leaf and sip the soup from a mug so you can inhale the steam – sure relief when a cold is coming on!
