Bundt Beauty Bread

“This wholesome bread is so beautiful to look at and so satisfying to eat that our guests are doubly delighted when they find out it is such a healthy bread as well! Yield: Makes 1 Bundt ring

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole-wheat flour
  • 1 cup unbleached flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup dark molasses
  • 1-1/4 cups raisins

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease and flour a Bundt pan (even if it's nonstick). Mix all the ingredients together, blending well, and then pour into pan. Turn the oven down to 350 degrees F and bake for about 45-60 minutes, testing to see if toothpick comes out clean and bread leaves pan sides easily.
