Asparagus au Gratin

Yield: Serves 4


  • 2 pounds fresh asparagus
  • 1/4 cup grated cheese
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • salt, pepper, and paprika


Cook the asparagus for 15 minutes. Drain and place in a buttered, ovenproof dish. Sprinkle with grated cheese, pour on the melted butter and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Put under the broiler until the cheese is browned.
