Snowy Owls have become a huge attraction in the birding and photography communities as well as capturing the attention of many others. Many are juveniles that have traveled great distances from the far north and lack the hunting skills for capturing prey they are not familiar with. Some have perished and some injured or sick birds have recovered after spending time in a rehab facility. I have been fortunate in being able to capture many images of a number of owls by keeping a safe distance while watching and waiting.
