To make a solution for washing aluminum siding, combine 1/3 cup of laundry detergent, 2/3 cup of TSP (or another product containing trisodium phosphate), 1 quart of household (5 percent) bleach and 3 quarts of water. Wash the siding, then immediately rinse.
