This daffodil looks like a trumphet; it’s o ne of the winter blooming yellow daffodils that start coming up late February usually. I have photos of bulbs with snow on them from previous seasons and even from this year I believe. Each year they along with the crocus comu up out of the bulb bed, and bam, it snows, scaring me into thihking that they will all die off…as they have done in many years due to the erratic weather changes in New England> I should write an article about this. I am obsessed with these bulbs and their beauty; also their fragility. yet how amazingn that they once gain survived a brief snow fall this year.
