First Yellow Crocus 3-2010

The first grouping of yellow crocus in my bulb bed…the yellow daffodils line the perimeter along my property line as you will see this year because I cut down the spirea last fall..last year one side didn’t have any but this year they line both sides of the fence there. So beautiful to see this many daffs coming up at once, with yellow crocus in mounds along the bulb bed and purple starting to show their tips…soon they will pop out too

Close-up of bright yellow crocus flowers in bloom with dark soil and green leaves in the background.
